Enable the venous return by simulating walking
AIRVEIN simulates walking while seated. The foot rests on the cushion filled with air and carries out an exercise in moving air between the compartments of the cushion. The user makes an effort similar to walking upright, actives muscle pump and improves blood circulation. The muscular effort required is much more important than the simple bending of the foot. The exercises allow the activation of the muscle pump of the lower limbs and, consequently, improving circulation and reducing venous stasis. This movement is called the Active Vascular Gymnastics (AVG) (Blanchemaison P., A. Guell, and space Angiology, Angiology, 2003, 55, 2, 64-67. 2 - Blanchemaison Ph. Gymnastics Vascular Active: principles and technique, Angiology, 2003, 55, 4, 66-71. (www.maladies-veineuses.org)).
The frequency of exercise recommended is 5 minutes per hour of immobility and without limits when necessary (respecting the recommendations of WHO - WRIGHT).
The exercises are equally effective with his feet shod.
AIRVEIN is compact, transportable, autonomous, self-inflating. There is no restriction on current use. It is also authorized in aircraft.
